SpotmeTinyNode

Application Scenarios
Conference Navigator: Shockfish Development has created a wireless communication system for conferences and other events. At events with Spotme every participant uses a purpose built PDA for networking and messaging. Presentation: Creating Spotme Remote Monitoring of Vehicle Equipment: Internet and mobile technologies facilitate maintenance management through the ubiquitous access to vehicle status and diagnosis data. Remote Electrocardiographic [ECG] Monitoring of Patients: Continuous ECG monitoring (also called Holter monitoring) is a current practice for detecting heart abnormalities. Mobile technologies enable the online access to ECG information saving time and accelerating the diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases.

Company
Bendicht Ledin and Rémy Blank founded Shockfish in late 1998. They have since then been joined by top-notch EPF engineers. The company secured a substantial round of investment from a group of Swiss angel investors in the year 2000. Its position near by the EPFL is strategic to attract wild brains and to keep its technological lead. The first activity of Shockfish was the development and the marketing of the Spotme conference navigator, a networking tool for conferences, mobile & wireless. Taking advantage of the resources, competences and experience it has acquired developing the Spotme system, Shockfish SA is providing development services to third parties since the beginning of 2002.
